- ½ cup diced roasted red bell peppers
- ½ cup finely diced tomato
- ¼ cup finely diced celery
- ¼ cup chopped green olives
- ¼ cup chopped kalamata olives
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons Dierbergs olive oil
- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Italian herb seasoning
- ⅛ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 package (24 ounces) Dierbergs Signature Mild Italian Sausage Links
- Dierbergs Bakery hot dog buns
FOR LITTLE ITALY RELISH: In small bowl, stir together all Relish ingredients until well mixed. Let stand at room temperature at least 1 hour to develop flavors. Relish may be covered and chilled up to 2 days.
FOR SAUSAGE: Place sausage links on oiled grid over medium heat; cover and grill turning links often until golden brown and internal temperature is 155°F., about 20 to 25 minutes.
TO SERVE: Place sausage on buns; top each with Relish.
