Dierbergs and Vendor Partners Unite for St. Louis Tornado Relief, Launch Register Round-Up Campaign

For Immediate Release

Chesterfield, Mo. – June 3, 2025 - In the wake of the devastating tornado that swept through the St. Louis area in May—displacing families and damaging homes, Dierbergs is partnering with business and customers to provide meaningful aid and support to the community it proudly serves.

As recovery continues, Dierbergs, together with its dedicated vendor partners, is contributing more than $30,000 in essential products including food, drinking water and cleaning supplies and more than $10,000 in monetary aid. These donations have supported individuals in need and the urgent relief work of Urban League of St. Louis, The American Red Cross, Greater St. Louis Inc. and The St. Louis Area Foodbank.

To further support recovery efforts, from June 3 through June 23, Dierbergs will launch a Register Round-Up Campaign inviting customers to round up their purchases at checkout to aid local tornado relief. Dierbergs Rewards members can also donate points via the app or at Dierbergs.com/rewards, which will be converted into a monetary contribution.

Every dollar raised will directly support residents impacted by the storms. All proceeds will benefit the United Way Severe Storm Tornado Relief, a designated fund to provide food, shelter, and cleanup assistance in partnership with the Community Organizations Active in Disaster (COAD).

“The St. Louis region is facing unprecedented challenges in the aftermath of the May 16th storms and United Way of Greater St. Louis will continue to be a source of stability for our neighbors in need,” said Michelle D. Tucker, President and CEO of United Way of Greater St. Louis. “The generosity and support of our community will be crucial to our efforts to maintain stability for our neighbors, and we are so grateful that Dierbergs has united with us to support those affected by the storm. The dollars raised from their Round Up play a huge role in continuing our efforts toward recovery and restoration for our community.”

“St. Louis is our home, and in times like these, we seek meaningful ways to help our neighbors.” said Laura Dierberg Padousis, Executive Vice President of Dierbergs Markets. “Through partnerships with our generous vendors and the compassion of our customers, we hope to offer much-needed support to those facing the difficult road to recovery.”

Individuals looking to volunteer their time with the clean-up can sign up at Stlvolunteer.org/disaster. Larger monetary donations can be made at Helpingpeople.org/stormrelief.
