Orange Sesame Salmon

Ingredients

  • 4 Dierbergs Atlantic Salmon fillets (6 oz. each)
  • 1/4 cup sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • Diced scallions, for serving
  • Sesame seeds, for serving

Directions

Combine sesame oil, orange juice, soy sauce, honey, and garlic in a small bowl. Whisk well to combine.

 

Pour marinade in a shallow baking dish. Place salmon filets in the dish, skin side up. Cover and marinate for 30 minutes.

 

Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

 

Remove salmon from marinade and pat dry, reserving leftover marinade. Place salmon on prepared baking sheet. Lay half of the orange slices on the salmon. Bake for 15 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.

 

While salmon is baking, heat a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Add reserved marinate and bring to a boil. Simmer for 10 minutes.

 

Remove salmon from oven and top with the sauce. Garnish with remaining orange slices, scallops, and sesame seeds and serve.
