Grilled NY Strip Steaks with Italian Salsa Verde
Ingredients
- 1 bunch Italian parsley, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 shallot, diced
- 1 tablespoon capers, drained and minced
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
- 4 NY Strip Steaks, at room temperature
- 1 tablespoon salt
- ½ tablespoon black pepper
Directions
Combine Italian parsley, garlic, shallot, capers, red pepper flakes, salt, black pepper, lemon juice, and extra virgin olive oil in a medium bowl. Stir well and set aside.
Season both sides of steaks with salt and black pepper.
Heat a grill to medium-high heat. Add steaks and grill for 4-5 minutes, until golden brown and charred on one side.
Flip steaks and grill 3-4 minutes for medium rare.
Remove steaks from grill and transfer to a plate. Let steaks rest 10 minutes before serving. Top with Italian Salsa Verde and serve.
