Grilled Local Corn “Ribs”

Ingredients

  • 4 ears local corn
  • Drizzle vegetable oil
  • BBQ Spice Rub
  • ½ cup or so chopped green onion
  • Drizzle butter, melted

Directions

Being VERY VERY careful, cut the corn in half long ways. Place the cut side down on the cutting board and cut each half in half, again being VERY careful.

 

Take the now quartered pieces of corn and lightly oil and season with bbq rub.

 

Place the corn “ribs” on the hot part of your grill and allow the con to get some charred color. Move them around to char all sides.

 

Once the pick up some color they can be moved to a less hot spot on the grill to finish cooking.

 

When cooked the corn can be moved to a serving platter or plate and drizzled with melted butter. Garnish the corn with chopped green onion.
