- 2 cups loosely packed fresh basil leaves
- ½ cup pine nuts
- 3 cloves garlic
- ½ cup Dierbergs extra virgin olive oil
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
- Coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper
In work bowl of food processor fitted with steel knife blade, combine basil, pine nuts, and garlic; process until very finely chopped.
With machine running, pour olive oil through feed tube in slow, steady stream. Scrape down sides of bowl.
Add parmesan, salt, and pepper; pulse to combine.
