Cheesy Gnocchi Bake
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 package sage
- 2 tablespoons Dierbergs unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup Dierbergs heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup Essential Everyday shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 lb gnocchi, cooked
- Essential Everyday shaved parmesan cheese, for serving.
Directions
Preheat oven to 400F.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sage and sauté until crisp, about 5-6 minutes. Remove sage from pan and let drain on a paper towel.
Add butter and flour to the skillet. Whisk well. Slowly add heavy whipping cream, continuing to whisk until thickened.
Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and Dierbregs Shredded Mozzarella cheese to the skillet. Stir well, until combined. Fold in the gnocchi and stir.
Transfer gnocchi to a greased oven safe baking dish. Bake for 20 minutes, until golden brown.
Top with crisp sage and parmesan cheese and serve.
