Ensuring those at risk of hunger have access to healthy food is our highest priority. We support food banks, run customer donation campaigns, donate millions of pounds of food annually, and provide volunteers to pack donated food during the holidays.
Children’s education is one of our top giving priorities. We fulfill this through programs with the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of the Greater St. Louis area as well as by providing Lindenwood scholarships to eligible Associates annually.
Helping those at risk for hunger and supporting healthy living go hand in hand. We support our healthy living initiative through our Dierbergs-sponsored kitchen at COCA and our partnerships with St. Luke’s and Missouri Baptist.
Dierbergs supports organizations through increasing awareness, programming, and funding of research. We understand this is a growing issue, and we support as many different types of disease prevention organizations in our community as possible.
We support organizations that make our community a better place for everyone, including Wings of Hope, which helps those in need, as well as the Joshua Chamberlain Society and Honor Flight Missouri, which honor and assist those who served our country.
Dierbergs promotes support of stray dogs and cats through register campaigns, where customers can donate to Stray Rescue (St. Louis) and Dogwood Animal Shelter (Osage Beach). We also partner with Anheuser-Busch and Milkbone to generate additional funds.
The Dierbergs team partnered with KidSmart - Tools for Learning and visited Hickey Elementary School, delivering supplies and educational resources to prepare students to be successful in school! Thank you to KidSmart for letting us help make an impact and thank you to our customers for continuing to help us support our future leaders.
Dierbergs Impact Day at Operation Food Search gave our team the opportunity to work together to make an impact by packing over 1,900 weekend meal kits for children in need through OFS's Operation Backpack Program. Our partnership with OFS helps to bring equitable access to food for our neighbors to help them lead healthier lives.
Dierbergs Impact Day at Veterans Community Project allowed our Associates to reflect on the sacrifices so many Veterans have made for us and our nation. Veterans Community Project directly supports local Veterans in need by providing transitional housing and access to an outreach center to provide counseling, food, hygiene kits and other resources.
To request a donation, you must submit a formal request at least 90 days prior to your event date. To request a donation, your organization must be certified as a 501c3. If your organization meets this requirement, you can submit a charitable donation request. Once your request is received, it will go through our review process and you will be notified of any approvals.
