Product Recall: Fresh Ground Beef from Dierbergs Wentzville Crossing Store
St. Louis, April 14, 2026 - Dierbergs Markets is recalling all packages of ground beef that were freshly ground in store April 14, 2026, and sold April 14, 2026, at its Wentzville location (1820 Wentzville Parkway).
The recall is in response to the discovery of a foreign object discovered in the grinder. This recall is voluntary and based on an abundance of caution. No reports have been made from packages sold.
The recall applies to the following ground beef varieties processed and hand-wrapped in the store with a Sell By Date of 4/16/2026.
- Dierbergs Butcher Shop 80/20 Ground Chuck (UPC number: 02-41622-XXXXX)
- Dierbergs Butcher Shop 85% Ground Round (UPC number: 02-41628-XXXXX)
- Dierbergs Butcher Shop 90% Ground Sirloin (UPC number: 02-41620-XXXXX)
- Dierbergs Butcher Shop 93% Lean Ground Beef (UPC number: 02-41634-XXXXX)
All impacted product that had not been sold has been pulled from the store’s shelves and removed from the service case and discarded. Loaded burgers and vacuum-sealed packages of ground meat sold at the store are not affected.
Dierbergs asks customers who purchased the product listed above on April 14, from the Wentzville store to bring their unused product or receipt to the store for a full refund.
