St. Louis, August 25, 2026 - Dierbergs is aware of the recent FDA recall involving certain alfalfa sprouts due to potential contamination with E. coli and Salmonella. The recall applies to specific alfalfa sprout products grown by Everything Sprouts, LLC.

Dierbergs does not handle or sell alfalfa sprouts, and therefore none of the products identified in this recall are carried in our stores.

St. Louis, August 21, 2026 - In response to a voluntary product recall, Dierbergs Markets has removed the following product from its shelves due to a potential Salmonella and E. coli outbreak:

Calco Bean Sprouts, 8 oz
UPC: 2107119582

It was determined that the product above was potentially traced back to Salmonella Algona and Shiga toxin producing E-coli infections. Customers are urged not to consume the affected product and may return it to any Dierbergs for a full refund.
