Dierbergs "Round-Up At The Register" Campaign Supports Critical Cancer Research
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ST. LOUIS (August 11, 2026) — Dierbergs Markets is once again partnering with local nonprofit Pedal the Cause to help accelerate lifesaving cancer research through its annual Round Up at the Register campaign, beginning today, August 11, at all Dierbergs stores.
Now through September 21, customers can support the cause by rounding up their purchases to the nearest dollar or making a donation of any amount at checkout. Dierbergs Rewards members can also donate their rewards points through the Dierbergs app or online. One hundred percent of every donation will directly fund innovative cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children's Hospital through Pedal the Cause.
For the third consecutive year, Dierbergs is also teaming up with 4 Hands Brewing Co. to expand their impact through a special in-store promotion featuring City Wide beer. From August 11 through September 21, Dierbergs will donate $1 to Pedal the Cause for every case of City Wide sold in its stores. Together, the longtime partners are creating another meaningful opportunity for the community to help fund the next generation of cancer breakthroughs.
Since 2010, Pedal the Cause has invested more than $56 million into breakthrough cancer research, funding 274 innovative research projects and helping researchers secure more than $500 million in additional research funding. Every dollar raised through the Dierbergs campaign will stay right here in St. Louis, supporting the next generation of discoveries that have the potential to change cancer treatment around the world.
“Our support for Pedal the Cause reflects Dierbergs' deep commitment to disease prevention research and the communities we call home,” said Laura Dierberg Padousis, executive vice president at Dierbergs Markets. “When our customers and Associates join this movement, they're standing beside our neighbors, colleagues, friends and family members who've been touched by cancer and helping to fund breakthroughs that save lives."
"Every breakthrough starts with a community that believes cancer research can't wait," said David Drier, executive director of Pedal the Cause. "Dierbergs has been an incredible partner for many years, and this campaign gives thousands of shoppers an easy way to make a real impact. Every donation, no matter the size, helps fund innovative research happening right here in St. Louis that is improving treatments, advancing discoveries and bringing hope to patients everywhere."
