Chesterfield, Mo. – November 13, 2025 - As many local families face heightened food insecurity heading into the holiday season, Dierbergs Markets is expanding its efforts to support the St. Louis community through partnerships, food donations, and customer-driven giving programs.

“We know many families in our community are feeling extra pressure this season, and we’re committed to showing up for them in as many ways as we can,” said Laura Dierberg Padousis, Executive Vice President of Dierbergs Markets. “From direct food donations and volunteer efforts to partnerships that expand access for SNAP shoppers, our goal is to remove barriers and make it easier for families to put nutritious food on the table. Supporting our neighbors is at the heart of who we are, and we’re grateful to work alongside customers and community partners to make a meaningful impact.”

Hunger Never Takes a Holiday Register Campaign for Operation Food Search
November 12–December 30
Customers can donate at the register, and Rewards Members can donate Rewards points in the Dierbergs App or Online.

To accelerate the impact of the campaign, Dierbergs is providing an initial contribution of a $50,000 truckload of food to Operation Food Search. Additional food donations will be made throughout the campaign, supported by volunteer efforts to pack and distribute items to local pantries.

Scouting for Food Drive
November 22–30
Dierbergs is proud to once again serve as a key partner in the annual Scouting for Food Drive led by the Greater St. Louis Area Council, Boy Scouts of America. Customers can donate shelf-stable items at Dierbergs stores to help restock local food pantries ahead of the holiday season.

Ongoing Support Through Food Donations and Reusable Bag Program
Dierbergs’ charitable reusable bag initiative continues to fuel year-round hunger relief in the region. Through the Sprinkle Kindness reusable bag, 20 percent of every sale is donated directly to Operation Food Search, helping fund meals and essential support for families across the St. Louis area. In addition to this ongoing contribution, Dierbergs donates food several times each week to local pantries through OFS.

DoorDash Partnership: Free Delivery and Service Fees for SNAP Recipients
In partnership with DoorDash, Dierbergs is covering the cost of delivery and service fees for SNAP customers through the end of November. Customers who have linked their SNAP/EBT card within DoorDash can receive waived fees on one Dierbergs’ order, helping stretch grocery budgets during a period of increased need.

Instacart Support for SNAP Shoppers
Instacart and Dierbergs are offering SNAP customers 50 percent off their next grocery order, up to a $50 discount, with a one-time code in the Instacart app. This discount applies to all eligible Marketplace items except alcohol. Instacart is also providing 50 percent off an annual Instacart+ membership for SNAP customers.
