Apricot Prosciutto Toasts

Ingredients

Blank Canvas Cheese Spread
1 tablespoon dried rosemary, crushed
36 slices Dierbergs Bakery French Baguette, toasted
2 packages (3 ounces each) sliced prosciutto, each slice cut into thirds
18 dried apricots, halved lengthwise

Directions

In medium bowl, stir together Cheese Spread and rosemary. Spread 1 tablespoon over each toast. Top with folded prosciutto slice and apricot half.

Cherry Pecan Toasts  Omit rosemary, prosciutto, and apricots. Spread 1 tablespoon Cheese Spread over each toast slice. Using sharp knife, slice 1 carton (4.2 ounces) Rutherford & Meyer Cherry Fruit Paste into 36 strips. Top each toast with fruit paste strip and a pecan half.

Fig and Pig Toasts  Omit rosemary, prosciutto, and apricots. Spread 1 tablespoon Cheese Spread over each toast slice. Top each with dollop of Dalmatia Fig Spread and crumbled cooked bacon.

Honey Walnut Toasts  Omit rosemary, prosciutto, and apricots. In medium bowl, stir together Cheese Spread, 6 tablespoons honey, and 4 teaspoons grated orange peel. Spread 1 tablespoon Cheese Spread mixture over each toast. Sprinkle toasted and finely chopped walnuts and additional grated orange peel over top. Drizzle very small amount of honey over tops.

Lemon Dill Shrimp Toasts  Omit rosemary, prosciutto, and apricots. Spread 1 tablespoon Cheese Spread over each toast slice. Top each with 1 peeled, deveined, and cooked Black Tiger shrimp. In small bowl, combine 4 teaspoons dried dill weed and 4 teaspoons grated lemon peel; sprinkle generous pinch over each shrimp. Top each toast with a quartered lemon slice.

Pear and Cranberry Toasts  Omit rosemary, prosciutto, and apricots. In medium bowl, stir together Cheese Spread and ¾ cup Dierbergs blue cheese crumbles. Spread 1 tablespoon of the mixture over each toast. Sprinkle sweetened dried cranberries over cheese. Top with thinly sliced ripe pear.
