St. Louis, December 12, 2007 – In response to a voluntary recall by the Back to Nature Food Company, Dierbergs Markets has has pulled Back to Nature Sesame Ginger Rice Thins Crackers from its shelves.
The product is being recalled because a small number of boxes may contain a milk ingredient, and no milk ingredients are declared on the label. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
Dierbergs pulled the affected product that carried the UPC code 7-59283-10013. The product featured a "Best When Used By" date of Feb. 22, 2008.
Dierbergs customers may return this product to any Dierbergs store for a full refund.
