St. Louis, February 28, 2008 -- In response to a product recall by Conagra, Dierbergs Markets is removing the following product from its shelves because it contains beef that was impacted by the recall from Hallmark/Westland Meat:
Hunt's Meat Flavored Spaghetti Sauce
UPC #27000-42240
26.5 oz. can
Regarding the Westland/Hallmark Meat company recall, no illnesses related to the recall have been reported and the USDA notes there is low potential for health risks.
Dierbergs customers can return the affected product to any Dierbergs store for a full refund.
