St. Louis, September 5, 2008 -- Regarding the recent voluntary recall by Hershey of its Chocolate Shell Topping, Dierbergs Markets has confirmed that the none of the product with code named in the recall was shipped to its stores.
A specific lot of the product has been recalled because it contains undeclared almonds. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to almonds run the risk of serious or life threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.
The affected product is the 7.25 oz size with UPC 34000-00600 and the code 69N listed underneath.
