St. Louis, March 9, 2007 -- Dierbergs Markets has received notification of a product recall from Kraft involving Nabisco Chips Ahoy! involving products bearing the following UPC:
- Chips Ahoy!
Soft Baked White Fudge Chocolate Chunk
4400001568
14.5 oz.
Kraft has withdrawn the product from shelves because the product does not meet quality standards and the company cannot rule out the possibility that some packages may contain small pieces of metal. The quality error was limited in scope and the company took immediate steps to prevent recurrences.
None of the product has been found on Dierbergs' shelves.
