St. Louis, May 26, 2007 - In response to a voluntary recall by Advanced Medical Optics (AMO), Dierbergs Markets has removed the following product from its shelves:
Complete(R) MoisturePlus(TM) Multipurpose Solution
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control made recommendation to AMO about the product regarding eye infections from Acanthamoeba, a naturally occurring water-borne organism which can contribute to serious corneal infections.
Dierbergs customers can return this product to any Dierbergs store for a full refund.
