Asian Dan Dan Noodles with Chopped Salad


3 tablespoons canola oil
1 yellow onion, thinly sliced
1 red bell pepper, quartered, seeded, and thinly sliced
1 pound Perdue ground turkey
1 cup Kikkoman garlic & green onion teriyaki sauce
4 ounces fresh snow peas (weighed in Produce)
1 pound Dierbergs egg noodles, cooked and drained according to package directions
1 bag (8.5 ounces) Earthbound Farm organic Asian style chopped salad kit
1 head romaine lettuce, chopped


In large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add onion and bell pepper; cook stirring occasionally for 15 minutes. Crumble ground turkey into pan; cook, stirring often with wooden spoon to break up meat into small piece, until meat is cooked through and no pink remains. Add teriyaki sauce and snow peas; cook stirring often for 2 minutes. Add egg noodles and toss to coat; cook for 2 minutes or until heated through.

In large bowl, toss together all salad kit ingredients and romaine. Serve Dan Dan Noodles with Chopped Salad.
