Red, White and Blue Berries
1 box (16 ounces) strawberries, at room temperature
1 cup white baking chips
1 teaspoon Dierbergs vegetable oil
1/4 cup Dierbergs Bakery red, white, and blue sprinkles or coarse blue sugar
Wipe berries with damp cloth, leaving stems attached. Place baking chips and oil in 1-cup glass measure. Microwave (high) for 1 minute. Let stand 2 minutes; stir until melted and smooth. Place sprinkles on sheet of waxed paper. Holding stem of berry, dip ⅔ of berry in melted chips to coat, shaking off excess; roll berry in sprinkles. Place on second sheet of waxed paper until set, about 20 minutes. Repeat with remaining berries.
