Try this easy no-bake dessert that's bursting with summer flavor!5 medium peaches, peeled and sliced
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese (light or regular), softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 loaf (16 ounces) Dierbergs Bakery pound cake, sliced
1/2 cup sliced almonds, toasted
In large bowl, combine peaches and granulated sugar; gently toss and set aside. In large mixer bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, extracts, and cinnamon at medium speed until blended. Gradually beat in heavy whipping cream; beat at high speed until soft peaks form. (If desired, cover and refrigerate.) Place cake slices on individual serving plates. Top each slice with about peaches and dollop of cream mixture. Garnish with toasted almonds.
