Whether she is writing about delicious recipes or teaching a class on how to prepare them, Therese shares her love of cooking with others on a daily basis. She found her passion for food as a young girl watching her grandmother cook and hasn’t stopped cooking since.

After high school, Therese headed to the University of Missouri, Columbia to study education, but she couldn’t help gravitating towards the food side of teaching. She graduated with a Degree in Education, specializing in Home Economics, and started working as the Assistant Manager for the Southroads School of Cooking soon after.

Therese has held several positions within Dierbergs School of Cooking, including being recruited to write for their Everybody Cooks magazine, and she enjoys getting to experience the different sides of the business.

When she’s not working, Therese’s favorite thing to cook is Thanksgiving dinner which she holds at her house every year. She also loves eating spicy or grilled foods and especially enjoys when the two come together. A self-described "music geek", she spends her free time gardening, decorating, walking and chasing after her grandkids.

Therese’s Cooking Tip: “Don’t be afraid to try new recipes or experiment. It makes cooking a lot more fun!”
