Chef Jack West MacMurray III
Chef Jack MacMurray Important Ingredients:
-1992 Silver Medal Graduate of the Academy of Culinary Arts in Atlantic City, New Jersey
-Top 5 restaurant and 5-star hotel chef in Vail, Colorado
-Has cooked for President Ford, Emeril Lagasse, and other celebrities

Chef Jack Mac started his career at the top of the culinary world both literally and figuratively. After graduating from culinary school, he moved to Vail, Colorado to pursue his passions for cooking and extreme skiing. While in Vail, Chef Jack worked for a five-star hotel and a top five restaurant, cooked for several famous clients, including President Ford, and was also a nine-time participant in the Taste of Vail.

After moving to Saint Louis with his wife, Chef Jack spiced things up at restaurants like Crazy Fish, Wild Horse Grill, and Sage Urban American Grill. He snagged a first place win in the 2009 Mardi Gras Crystal Cajun Cook-Off, won top honors as St. Louis Master Chef 2010 at Taste of St. Louis, and has come up with his own line of Jack Mac spices and rubs.

Cooking is clearly Chef Jack’s favorite thing to do and the easiest part of his job, no matter where he might be. His favorite dish to cook is soup. He believes that you are only as good as the soup you serve. Chef Jack also enjoys cooking real BBQ, and with his passion for hunting, he sometimes even provides the meat

Chef Jack Mac’s Cooking Tip: “You shouldn’t be afraid to experiment when you cook. In any recipe you make can substitutions. And if it’s not fun, go out to dinner!”
