Grilled Cheddar, Ham, and Apple Panini

Ingredients

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon honey
8 slices Dierbergs Bakery Signature Cinnamon Bread
4 slices Dierbergs Deli sharp cheddar cheese, cut in half
4 thin slices Dierbergs Deli Signature Virginia ham (about ¼ pound)
½ medium Granny Smith apple, cored and thinly sliced
¼ cup Dierbergs butter, melted

Directions

In small bowl, stir together Dijon and honey until smooth; spread on one side of each bread slice. Top half of the bread slices with cheese, ham, apple, and another piece of cheese. Top with remaining bread slices mustard-side down. Brush half of the butter on top side of each sandwich.

Place sandwiches buttered-side down on preheated grill pan over medium heat. Place large heavy pan on top of sandwiches to compress. Cook until golden brown, about 2 minutes. Remove pan from sandwiches. Brush butter on top side of each sandwich; turn and place pan back on top of sandwiches. Cook until golden brown, about 2 minutes.
