Peach Tips

How to Pick

Press gently where the stem is or was. It should give slightly. The softer a peach is, the sweeter it is for eating. When you’re baking, however, it’s best to use firmer peaches.

How to Store

Peaches continue to ripen after picking, so for proper storage, leave them out on counter at room temperature until the peach is the perfect ripeness. To slow the ripening process, store in your refrigerator. Do NOT wrap or place in plastic bag.
