Dierbergs welcomes WIC checks at all of our locations. Each of our stores offers a large number of items that qualify for WIC purchases, and a friendly staff who is happy to help you find what you need.
WIC is a special supplemental food program for pregnant, breast-feeding and postpartum women, and infants and children up to five years who are determined by qualified health professionals to be medically or nutritionally at risk and are eligible according to predetermined income guidelines.
WIC is funded and administered at the national level by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Food and Nutrition Service. The WIC Program in Missouri is administered by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services through contracts with city or county health departments, nursing services or other nonprofit agencies.
