Hennesey was our Pet of the Week in April 2009
Hennessey's the kind of guy who gets your attention. You can’t miss him, with his piercing hazel-brown eyes and beautiful rust colored coat. At least that’s how we felt when we met him. But, he’s not just looks of course; he has the personality to match. At nearly two years old, Hennessey seems to have the energy of six-month old puppy. He can’t visit the dog park enough, anxiously pushing his way to the front seat of the car when we get close. He’d run his heart out for hours if we’d let him. He’s amazingly well mannered despite his rough start in life. At home, he’ll snuggle as close as he can get and stay there until bedtime…where he also stays more than we should let him, perhaps. He waits for his food, drool wetting the floor until we say “take it!” and plays hide-and-seek with his favorite treats. We’re his biggest fans and can’t begin to express how much we love him.
