Ember was our Stray Rescue Pet of the Week in June 2009
When we last met Ember, she had been found with her mom and siblings in a burned-down house (hence the name Ember) –- and was listed as our Pet of the Week in hopes of finding a forever home.
Fast forward eight months . . .
Ember is now known as Emmi and it sounds like her goals of an exceedingly wonderful forever home have been met. Her new owners describe her as 60 pounds of unbridled joy! She has very good puppy manners and is working on being a big girl. Emmi has learned to sit, come, down, sit pretty and stay down. She loves her kennel and when when given a bedtime snack, she promptly curls up for the night.
A few of her favorite things . . .
Emmi loves bones ... the big ones (the small ones are like twigs)! She also loves playing tug-o-war and chasing the red dot from the flashlight ... such a puppy! She also loves to play fetch with the sticks in the back yard.
Emmi stays busy and is the perfect match with her new family!
